National Friends of Libraries Week

Friends of the Library raise money that enables the Blue Earth library to provide resources for programming, necessary equipment, support for children, and wonderful special events throughout the year. At the October 19, Council meeting, Mayor Scholtes proclaimed October 18-24 as Friends of Libraries Week in the City of Blue Earth. All are urged to thank the Friends of the Library and the Blue Earth library staff for all they do to make the community so much better.
